COMO SE INSCREVER NO GNIB

As a first-time student in Dublin, you must register with the Immigration Service Delivery (ISD) at Customer Service Portal.

It’s important you should have an email and an Irish phone number ready to do your registration and verification of your identity.

  • How to Book: Appointments must be made via the ISD Customer Service Portal. You should create an account and book as soon as you arrive in Ireland (slots fill up quickly).
  • The Appointment: You will have your fingerprints and photo taken.
  • The Fee: There is a registration fee of €300 (payable by card only).
  • Delivery: Your IRP card will be sent to your Irish address by post within 10–15 working days.

Once you have an appointment, Go to reception one week before in order to get all your documents ready for you.

  • Valid Passport: Must be valid for at least 12 months.
  • Letter of Acceptance: An official letter from ISI Dublin given from our Admissions team confirming you are enrolled in a full-time course (15+ hours/week).
  • Proof of Fees Paid: This is the GNIB Start letter, it is given on request to our receptionists, this is an evidence that you have paid your tuition fees in full.
  • Proof of Funds: This is a recent bank statement from the last 6 months, it can be in any currency, make sure to comply for: Non-visa required students: €6,650 (or €10,000 for visa-required students) to cover living expenses.
  • Medical Insurance: Proof of a valid private medical insurance policy.
  • Proof of Address: This can be an Utility bill from your current address or a letter from your temporary staying.
  • Confirmation email: This confirmation email needs to be printed as all the documents before mentioned.

If you are already a student looking for your renewal of your current IRP/GNIB card, you need to Irish Immigration Service Online (ISDO) at ISD Online Forms.

No need to make an appointment as in the first time.

You need to present the next documents:

  • Valid Passport.
  • Letter of Acceptance.
  • Proof of Fees Paid: This is the GNIB Start Letter of your new course.
  • Medical Insurance.
  • Photo of your passport.
  • Photo of your signature.
  • Letter of your previous course: This letter must ask it at reception or from your previous English Language School, you need to contact them for this, This letter must contain your latest attendance.
  • Your Results of your exam: This is the exam you booked at the beginning of your previous course.

What is not valid to upload: Your certificate of completion your course.

Once you have completed all the steps and filled all the online form, you need to pay €300 fee by card.

Shortly you will get an email confirmation from ISD about your submitted application.

The process time will vary on the time is being made.

Once you get an email confirmation that your application has been approved, your IRP card will be sent to your Irish address by post within 10–15 working days.
