Welcome to ISI Dublin! Some important information for all our new students, ISI Dublin operates from two school buildings. Meeting House Lane and Parnell Square West. All Academic Year students can approach to reception to be oriented on for further information on their stay. Orientation will take place in Meetinghouse Lane building. Orientation will cover information on setting up a bank account, your visa, GNIB appointment and course contract.

Livro do curso

You will receive your book on your first day of school. If you are an Academic Year student and are due to collect a second book when you move up to a higher level, please ask at academic department.

Certificado

It is important that you come to all your classes. You must have 85% attendance at the end of your course in order to receive your certificate. Please collect your certificate after class on the last Friday or Thursday Afternoon of your course.

Assiduidade e pontualidade

Your class will be marked in 3 separate hours. Classes start at 9 am and 1.00 pm. If you arrive after the start time, you will lose 1 hour of attendance per day. Please make sure you are back from your breaks on time too. If you miss class due to illness, you will need to provide a doctor’s certificate in order to receive attendance.

We ask all students to use their mobile phones or devices for academic purposes only directed by their teacher.

Classe

Se tiver algum problema com o nível da sua turma, fale com o professor, que poderá lhe dar a melhor orientação.

Listas de classes

Verifique as listas de turmas todas as segundas-feiras, caso sua sala de aula tenha mudado.

Eletivas

We have several different types of Elective classes: Writing & Grammar and Conversation. The suitability of these electives depends on the level of your General English class and the time of the Elective. If you are not sure whether you are doing an Elective, or would like to add an Elective to your course, please contact reception.

Exames

All programmes include preparation and registration for the Oxford Test of English. At the start of their course, all Academic Year students will be registered for their exam. The exam date will be at the end of their course. Please email academic@isi-ireland.ie about your exam. If you would like to change to an IELTS or Cambridge exam you will need to pay an extra fee and notify the Academic team in the first two weeks of your course.

Recepção

A recepção está disponível para ajudá-lo com qualquer dúvida que você possa ter sobre seu curso, acomodação e vida em Dublin. Eles estão sempre dispostos a responder suas perguntas.

Impressão

You can print documents at reception by e-mailing reception@isi-ireland.ie. The cost is 30c per page for a black and white print out and 50c for colour.

Cursos

Se quiser alterar o horário do seu curso, entre em contato com a recepção para saber sobre disponibilidade e preços. Os alunos do GE15 e do AY15 podem adicionar disciplinas eletivas ao seu curso por uma taxa nominal.

Programa social

We have an extensive social programme with different events almost every day. These include different clubs such as a Jobs Club and History Club. To find out what is happening, please check the TVs at Student Lounge and follow us on Social Media.

Biblioteca

Há vários leitores graduados disponíveis na recepção para empréstimo. É necessário fazer um depósito de €10, que será devolvido quando você devolver o livro.
