Friday Hike – Saint Anne’s Park
Improve your English while doing a different outdoor social activity!
It’s time to visit the gorgeous Saint Anne’s Park. It is a 240-acre public park situated between Raheny and Clontarf that contains beautiful gardens, buildings, and little critters. It forms part of the former estate of the Guinness Family, who first began developing the park in 1835. It was eventually bought by Dublin City Council in 1939, thanks to which we can now enjoy our Friday Hike there!
This park is full of badgers, hedgehogs, rabbits, foxes, squirrels, sparrow hawks, woodcocks, and jays. The main attractions are the stunning Clocktower and the charming Rose Garden.
Seldom will you have seen such a colourful place!
